  • 40g (2Tbsp) Cream cheese

For the Garlic Sauce:

  • 70g Room temperature unsalted butter
  • 36g (2Tbsp) Minced garlic
  • 16g (1Tbsp) Honey (or sugar)
  • 1g (1Tbsp) Parsley

Additional Ingredients:

  • 140g Mozzarella cheese
  • Egg wash (beaten egg)
  • 10g Melted unsalted butter
  • Additional parsley for garnish

METHOD

1. Preparing the Dough:

  • In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk, stirring in the sugar. Allow it to sit until frothy.
  • Whisk the room temperature egg and introduce it to the yeast mixture, blending thoroughly.
  • In another bowl, mingle the bread flour with salt. Gradually combine this with the wet ingredients, forming a cohesive dough.
  • Work the dough gently with your hands, and upon achieving a moist consistency, introduce the butter and cream cheese, continuing to knead until smooth.
  • Allow the dough to ferment in a warm place until it swells to 2-3 times its original size (ideally at 35℃~36℃).

2. Creating the Garlic Sauce:

  • Combine room-temperature butter, minced garlic, honey, and parsley, mixing until a homogenous sauce is formed. Set aside.

  • After about an hour, degas the dough and sprinkle it lightly with flour.
